A pair of late 18th century Italian Baroque giltwood wall mounted console tables, each with a shaped top painted to simulate marble and with a gilt edge over twin tapering double C-scroll supports richly carved with foliate decoration and scrolling capitals, meeting at the base with an anthemion. Italian, circa 1770.
Condition: Overall very good, both tables are in good condition with no major damage, there is a repair to one but not especially noticeable, the gilding appears to be the original and is in very good condition for its age with only minor losses and no evidence of regilding. Overall the tables have a very pleasing appearance and decorative charm.
